The connector type allows users to define how to graphically connect nodes in the data flow diagram.
The nodes can be connected using either a direct line or a path.
The default path method (green arrow below) will ensure that lines always run horizontally and vertically:
The direct method (red arrow below) will always use a straight line to connect the nodes:
